Hanukkah menorah

A Hanukkah menorah is a nine-branched candelabrum used during the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. It is lit each night to commemorate the miracle of the oil in the ancient Temple in Jerusalem. The central branch, known as the shamash, is used to light the other eight candles, one for each night of the holiday.
